Struggling with infertility was heartbreaking.
I always wanted to be a mother and the thought that I wouldn’t get the chance to have children of my own was devastating. After 2 surgeries to remove fibroids and 2 rounds of IVF, I had my first child at 33, a month shy of my 34th birthday.
I’m grateful to say that at 49 I am the proud mom of 3 boys (ages: 16, 12, and 5). Motherhood means the world to me and it’s the accomplishment I’m most proud of.
If my father had just given in and purchased the Barbie Dream House I wanted, I might have never become a designer. Instead, I foraged for boxes, carefully cut out windows, and created my own dream house complete with face towels for duvet covers.
I’ve been a designer for 19 years and the most important lesson I’ve learned is to make your home your own. Don’t worry about keeping up with the Jones’ or the latest trends. I curate spaces for my clients that look good and work with their lifestyle, because your home can be both comfortable and stylish.

DATING SOCIALITE: I landed back on the dating scene in 2017 after 10 years of being in a relationship.
I quickly learned most single people my age were really struggling with dating. They’re not part of the club scene anymore, they don’t know where to meet other singles, and overall they just feel like a fish out of water.
I felt the same way so I created “Eddie Offline”. It’s a singles house party where honest conversation collides with traditional dating rules. Whether you’re attending an “Eddie Offline” event or joining me virtually for my weekly Instagram Live sessions, I encourage you to keep dating. Push past the awkward feelings and open your heart to the love that’s out there waiting for you.
