If someone asked me how I came into interior design, I’d have to credit my father’s refusal to buy me a Barbie Dream House. But instead of wallowing in disappointment, I created my own out of boxes. I carefully cut out windows and designed each room using household items, using face towels as duvet covers. (Can you say innovative?)
Fast forward 19 years, and I’m an interior designer in Atlanta, GA who helps my clients curate a space that feels authentic and works for their lifestyle. When you work with me, it’s less about following the latest trends and more about reimagining a space that makes you feel good and functions the way you need it to.
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me spending time with my three boys or hosting weekly Instagram Live sessions for Eddie Offline, my house party for single, older adults looking to meet new people and date.
Struggling with infertility was heartbreaking. I always wanted to be a mother and the thought that I wouldn’t get the chance to have children of my own was devastating. After 2 surgeries to remove fibroids and 2 rounds of IVF, I had my first child at 33, a month shy of my 34th birthday. I'm grateful to say that at 49 I am the proud mom of 3 boys (ages: 16, 12, and 5). Motherhood means the world to me and it's the accomplishment I'm most proud of.
I landed back on the dating scene in 2017 after 10 years of being in a relationship. I quickly learned most single people my age were really struggling with dating. They’re not part of the club scene anymore, they don’t know where to meet other singles, and overall they just feel like a fish out of water. I felt the same way so I created “Eddie Offline”. It’s a singles house party where honest conversation collides with traditional dating rules. Whether you’re attending an “Eddie Offline” event or joining me virtually for my weekly Instagram Live sessions, I encourage you to keep dating. Push past the awkward feelings and open your heart to the love that’s out there waiting for you
